Living fully expressed

The idea of creating a business with the mission of supporting people in their quest was born of a desire to live limitless. When we're experiencing a life limited by our past experiences, we are not living our most fully expressed existence.

What It Means to Be Fully Expressed

What does it truly mean to live a fully expressed life? For me, it’s about unapologetically showing up as the most authentic version of yourself. When you’re no longer hiding behind the mask of what you think you're supposed to be. Instead, you allow all parts of yourself to have a seat at the table, including the messy, raw, and powerful parts.

Living fully expressed is about being free from the limitations you picked up in life that keep you small. It means making choices true to who you are, not who you think you should be or what's possible based on your past experience. The challenge is, most people don’t even realize they’re holding back. They’ve taken on limitations based on what they learned from their families or society about what’s possible and who certain experiences are meant for. Many of us learn early on to not want too much and to keep our expectations and desires "realistic."

Why is it so hard to be fully expressed? One major reason is that we often fear judgment. There’s this underlying fear that if we show the world who we really are, in our biggest, most audacious truth, we’ll be rejected. The truth is, being fully expressed requires vulnerability and courage. Vulnerability is powerful. It’s in those moments of being vulnerable—of showing up as yourself despite the fear, of persevering even when it feels impossible—that you see a reality available to you that you could only have imagined.

You have to overcome the beliefs that are holding you back if you want to reach your most authentic truth. The beliefs that tell you, "I’m not enough," "I don’t deserve success," or "I need to be someone else to be loved." These limiting beliefs, buried deep in the subconscious, act like invisible walls, like the invisible barrier when Barbie and Ken are traveling beyond what they ever knew, with no idea of what was on the other side of the reality they already knew.

How Limiting Beliefs Hold You Back

Limiting beliefs are sneaky. They're not right out in the open, alerting you to where you're stuck. They run almost without detection in the background, shaping how you see yourself and what you believe is possible for your life. The frustrating thing about limiting beliefs is that sometimes you can be aware of a belief that is holding you back, and actively trying to change it, yet it still keeps running in the background like a computer bug that you're aware of but unsure how to get rid of.

You likely know that many of these beliefs were formed in childhood. Maybe you were told directly or indirectly that you weren’t capable, or maybe you picked up on societal messages that made you feel like you had to fit a certain mold to be accepted. Over time, these limiting beliefs become part of your subconscious programming, influencing everything from how you approach your career to how you show up in relationships.

I've been investigating my limiting beliefs for years. Sometimes we may start with the common ones like "I'm not smart enough to ___" or "money makes people become greedy" and they resonate, and we start to pick them apart. But what I've found about my own limitations is that it takes a little digging and deep personal reflection to understand the limiting belief (or program) that's really running the show when it comes to the reality we're experiencing.

One of the most damaging ways limiting beliefs hold you back is through self-sabotage. I spent years holding myself back in business because I didn't think know as much as others. This not only led to me taking way longer to reach goals because I was always second guessing myself, but it also meant that whenever clients would ask for my thoughts on something, I would preface all my feedback with "well I don't really know the answer but here's what I think..." This obviously didn't leave them feeling confident about my advice, and it only perpetuated my belief that I didn't know enough to have an opinion.

The key is recognizing these limiting beliefs for what they are: outdated, false stories that no longer serve you. Once you do that, you can begin the process of reprogramming your mind to support your growth.

The Power of Reprogramming Your Subconscious Mind

Overcoming limiting beliefs requires that we reprogram out subconscious mind. The subconscious mind is powerful—it controls most of your behavior, habits, and even your emotional responses. It’s like the operating system of your life, calling the shots quietly from the background. And when it’s filled with limiting beliefs, it shapes your reality in ways that keep you stuck.

Reprogramming your subconscious mind is about rewriting the stories you’ve been telling yourself for years. The beautiful thing is that your subconscious mind can be worked with, and when you get it in alignment with what your conscious mind wants, it will allow you to step into your highest self almost seamlessly.

One of the most effective tools for reprogramming the subconscious is hypnosis. Hypnosis allows you to bypass the critical, analytical part of your mind and access the subconscious directly. When you're in a deeply relaxed state, the theta and delta wave state, you’re more open to suggestion, which makes it easier to release old beliefs and adopt new ones. I use hypnosis consistently for myself to keep moving forward to create the life I want, and the results have been life-changing.

But hypnosis is just one tool. Affirmations can be extremely effective. By repeating positive statements that reflect your desired reality you start to shift your internal dialogue, and edge out the some 60,000 thoughts per day that we have on average, much of which is repeating the reality that we don't want to continue.

Visualization is another way to reinforce those changes. By visualizing yourself as the version of you that’s already living your fully expressed life you send powerful messages to your subconscious. The more you can see and feel yourself in that reality the more your subconscious will believe it’s possible and will start to make it happen.

Reprogramming your subconscious mind isn’t overnight but it’s possible with consistent effort and the results are life changing. When you clear out the limiting beliefs that have been holding you back you create space for new opportunities, growth and a life that reflects your true potential.

How to Reprogram Your Subconscious and Become Fully Expressed

Reprogramming your subconscious mind is a journey but it starts with a few simple steps. The first and most important step is becoming aware of the limiting beliefs that are holding you back. You can’t change what you’re not aware of so take time to reflect on where in your life you feel stuck. Do you find yourself self sabotaging? Are there certain patterns that keep repeating? These are clues to the beliefs you need to rewire.

Once you’ve identified your limiting beliefs the next step is to challenge them. Ask yourself, “Is this belief actually true?” Often you’ll find that those beliefs are just stories you’ve been carrying around for years and they’re no longer relevant to who you are today. Recognizing this gives you the power to start rewriting them.

Here’s where it gets exciting: To become fully expressed you need to be willing to throw away what you think you know about what’s possible. So often we set our dreams based on what feels realistic, what we’ve seen happen in the past or what’s within our current awareness. But to reprogram your subconscious and live fully expressed you have to go beyond the boundaries of what you already know. You have to be willing to dream bigger, to imagine possibilities that are outside your current frame of reference. It’s about opening yourself up to a reality that doesn’t just fit into what you believe is possible—it goes beyond it.

Next, it’s time to introduce new, empowering beliefs. This is where tools like affirmations and visualization come in. When you create incremental improvements in your thoughts, you can make rapid changes in what you believe. For example, if your old belief was “I'm not smart enough to ___,” replace it with “I learn more everyday.” Repeat these affirmations daily, on a loop, as many times as possible. Especially in the morning or right before bed, when your subconscious is most receptive.

In addition to affirmations, visualization is a powerful tool to help reprogram your subconscious mind. Spend a few minutes each day visualizing yourself as your fully expressed self. Imagine how you would show up in your relationships, career, and everyday life if you were free of limiting beliefs. The more you practice this, the more your subconscious starts to accept this new reality.

Consistency is key. Reprogramming your mind is not something you just do and then you're done. It’s a daily practice, requiring moment by moment awareness. It can take time, but with persistence, you’ll start to notice shifts in how you think, feel, and behave. You’ll start showing up more confidently, making decisions that align with your true self, and feeling more at peace with who you are.

What It Looks Like to Be Fully Expressed and Embody Your Highest Self

As you start to see the effects of reprogramming your subconscious and overcoming limiting beliefs, you begin to show up as your highest self—the version of you that is fully expressed, confident, and in alignment with the life you most desire. What does it feel like to live as your highest self? It’s like a weight being lifted off your shoulders. You feel free, unencumbered by limitations.

Being fully expressed doesn’t mean that you never face challenges or doubts. It means that you no longer let those doubts dictate your actions. You trust yourself, knowing that you’re capable of handling whatever comes your way. You stop hiding parts of yourself or dimming your light to fit in. Instead, you allow your full self to be seen—your strengths, your quirks, and even your flaws—because they all make up the unique, powerful person you are.

Living fully expressed also has a ripple effect. When you embody your highest self, it positively impacts every area of your life. In your career, you’re no longer afraid to take bold steps, ask for what you want, or pursue opportunities that once felt out of reach. In relationships, you communicate with more authenticity and vulnerability, creating deeper, more meaningful connections. And in your personal life, you experience more joy, peace, and fulfillment because you’re finally aligned with who you truly are.

One of the most powerful aspects of living fully expressed is the deep sense of freedom it brings. You’re no longer constrained by the beliefs that used to limit you. You’ve reprogrammed your mind to support your growth, and you’re now living in alignment with your highest potential. Every decision you make is guided by a sense of purpose, and you feel more connected to yourself and the world around you.

But it’s important to remember that becoming your highest self is an ongoing journey. There’s no final destination. As you grow, evolve, and expand, your beliefs and identity will continue to shift to support the next level of your journey. The key is to stay open, curious, and committed to the process, knowing that each step brings you closer to living fully expressed.
